7-Zip ist ein sehr gutes, kostenloses Packprogramm, welches mit allen gängigen Formaten (ZIP, CAB, RAR, u.v.m.) umgehen kann. Zusätzlich bietet es das eigene 7z-Format, dass (lt. Hersteller) anderen Formaten in Kompressionsrate weit Überlegen ist.

hmm irgendwie hab ich das Gefühl die sind drauf wie Winrar, das war am anfang auch Gratis bis es einigermassen verbreitet war
